Lantern Workshop – Scoil Chaoimhin Naofa

Delighted to share with you pictures of our most recent Lantern making workshop in the Brockagh Centre.

Another great day where it was the turn of Senior & Juniors and 1st & 2nd classes.

There  was great imagination and the children were able to pick whether they wanted to paint, use crepe paper or contact paper to create their magical designs.  For the girls there were lots of love hearts and stars and the boys favoured ghosts and bats.

The lanterns will be collected from the school tomorrow and will be prepared over the weekend with their wire handles and candles.

Many thanks to Deborah, Martin, John, Stephen, Fiona, Bernadette & Sherron for helping out with the workshops.  Special thanks to Pauline in the school who helped us out as well and made sure that the transition between classes happened in an orderly fashion

Well done to all the pupils of Scoil Chaoimhin Naofa – you were all great
